Wuling Motors Indonesia exhibited two electric cars at the Indonesia Electric Motor Show (IEMS), Balai Kartini, Jakarta. The two cars are E100 and E200. In capacity, they both accommodate 2 adults and have compact dimensions.

Wuling Motors Indonesia Product Planning explained Danang Wiratmoko, E100 and E200 had slightly different specs, even though the two cars had identical dimensions and runways.

“The point of improvement is that in the E200, the cabin is quieter, so there is a reduction in NVH (Noise, vibration, and harshness),” Danang, told reporters in Jakarta.

Another difference, the E200 is equipped with Intelligent Auto Driving features. “This feature makes it possible to park vehicles automatically, on an application basis,” explained Danang.

In terms of exterior the E200 gets a minor change. “The body is now two tone colors, the design of the headlamps is also different. Same design of the alloy wheel. If on the E100 use a plastic rim cans closed. If the E200 he is full alloy,” continued Nanang.

Speaking of power train, both E100 and E200 carry the same spec. Two cars use lithium ion batteries which are capable of producing a maximum power of 29 kW and 110 Nm of torque. In full condition, the car can cover a distance of 250 km.

“29 kW is equivalent to 40 hp. When charging the battery, if we use a power source that has 3.3 kWh power, 8-12 hours ranging from 20 percent to 100 percent. If the power source is bigger, the duration becomes 6.6 kWh charging under 5 hours is full , “he continued.

Speaking of features, each car is equipped with a keyless entry, start stop button, electric parking brake, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, intelligent Auto-Driving, including 3 driving modes, Eco, Normal, and Sport.

Then for safety features, there is already Electronic Stability Control, Rear Parking Sensor, Parking Camera, Isofix, Airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and ABS-EBD.
